Awards

The awards ceremony will be staggered throughout the day beginning with the 5K in conjunction with the Finish Line Festival.

 

Special prizes will be given to the top 3 finishers in each of the following age groups:

17 & Under, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over

Athletes are eligible to win awards in multiple categories (excluding the overall male and female winners of each event).

All cash prizes are for overall winners and not by age category.

 

The Local Awards category pertains to the following counties only: Cass, Clay, Jackson, Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami, Platte, Ray, Wyandotte

 

Marathon:
All finishers will receive a special Marathon Medal. Finishers will also receive an additional black long-sleeve commemorative Technical Shirt.

Overall

• First Place, top male and female runner $1,000 each

• Second Place, male and female runner $500 each

• Third Place, male and female runner $250 each

• Masters, top male and female runner $250 each

• Local (9 county metro area), top male and female runner $250 each

• Wheelchair Overall, top male and female $125 each

 

Half Marathon:
All finishers will receive a special Half Marathon Medal.

Overall

• First Place, top male and female runner $500 each

• Second Place, male and female runner $250 each

• Third Place, male and female runner $125 each

• Masters, top male and female runner $125 each

• Local (9 county metro area), top male and female runner $125 each

• Wheelchair Overall, top male and female $125 each

 

Marathon Relay:
There are six relay categories including coed, male and female, and Corporate coed, male and female. All finishers will receive a special Marathon Relay Medal.

 

• First Place Team, in each category: $250

• Second Place, in each category will receive a sponsor prize pack
